Sopapilla Cheesecake

I used to make this back when I was in high school and got so many positive responses from this dessert. It’s so quick and easy to make too! I had friends that would ask for me to make this anytime we got together. It was definitely my signature dessert to make.

And now I’m happy to share the recipe with you all!

The cast:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spray nonstick spray in a 9×13 baking dish or cake pan. Unroll one can crescent rolls and press seams together, placing at the bottom of the baking dish.

Cream together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.

Spread on top of the crescent roll layer.

Place other can of crescent rolls on top of the cream cheese mixture, pressing the seams closed.

Cut a stick of butter into pats and place on top of the crescent roll top layer.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until top layer of crescent rolls are golden brown. Sprinkle more cinnamon and sugar on top.

This can be eaten warm or chilled in the fridge before serving.

A sweet and creamy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2- 8oz blocks of cream cheese
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • butter
  • cinnamon and sugar mixed

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
